No, but it will do 480p with the proper cable. On an HDTV, 480p will look far better than 480i. :-:

Wii maxes out at 480p. You could buy one of these to get the signal to an HDMI input on your TV.

What a shame. You would have been more than welcome to join us. As it is, I just heard it is likely that the walls will not be flown in until Thursday as teh ground prep will take place tomorrow afternoon now, instead of the morning.

Are you sure? I know the 2% Executive bonus at Costco caps at $500, but I wasn't aware of a cap on the 1/2/3% for using the CostCo Amex. I know they take gas down to 1% after you spend $3000.

You are quite correct, sir. I was thinking of the Exec bonus 2% not the Costco Amex card.

Are you staying at the Sheraton?

I'm in for dinner/drinks on Friday evening. IIRC, the train gets in to PRG around 7-ish, so we could meet around 8 at the Sheraton if you guys want...

I am sure we will be up for the same as we get into PRG at 1:20 as scheduled.

Talked with my friend and she said it is getting better. Hopefully all is well. of the 16 flights this past weekend only 1 issue and that was resolved nicely with lots of fun and new FM line!!

I guess I will take the handle of cougar!! :)

Just was reviewing the last of the miles posting at CO.com. For last weeks $550 in flight costs I made 19,016 EQMs and will have close to 42,786 in RDMs. Oh and that $300 travel voucher, $12 in food vouchers, and $20 in travel bank credits!! Not a bad deal at all!! I am ready to go again.

The standard Wii video cable is just RCA video so the converter you linked to would not work.

I ended up ordering a component video cable for the Wii on Amazon for $6 shipped - that'll do 480p just fine. Going beyond that (to HDMI) wouldn't provide any further benefit.

That's what I have already. I was thinking that you wanted to route the Wii to an HDMI input for some reason.

Did you notice an improvement in the video quality when you switched to the component cables? I know Wii graphics aren't supposed to be good but, right now, they look pretty terrible with the RCA video cable.

It is before 5 PM and I am done for the day. This NEVER happens between the months of September and March. :D

However, this is also the first moment roday at which I have actually sat down, other than at a piano (which is, of course, work).

Time to catch up and multi-quote like crazy...though the question is, what should I pour first? (I mean, it's 5:00 SOMEWHERE, right?...like here in 4 minutes...) ;)

I'm happy enough with them. Most of the games I play aren't supposed to be photo-realistic (Mario Kart, Super Mario, Guitar Hero, etc), and I've never really played PS3/360 1080 games, so I'm not too harsh.

The other is a male named Goon since the mother's name is Goblin . Blame the adult kids who named them). Hopefully my wife will get pictures on her website in the next week.

A belated congrats. Looking forward to the pics!

My AmEx has $0 spend on Entertainment. I'm not quite sure what that says about me.
