I should have some email access (user name at gmail) but the best way to reach me will be by SMS/phone. I'll send my cell phone number along in the PM I send out to everyone.

We usually get db errors when FT is having problems, im sure one of our resident DB gurus will have more valuable insight.

I do know that the technical administrative staff at Internet Brands is actively working on resolving this issue.

Depending on when I get to DRS, I may have plenty of time to go in to the city. Has anyone been to Schlachthof Fünf (Slaughterhouse Five)? Worth it?

It has been better since the recent problems.

I just noticed something interesting about the permalinks that are generated for each post while messing around. You can craft a URL that gives your post any milestone you want. Even a milestone that doesn't exit yet. Therefore, when I make a ninja edit in a few seconds, this link will magically transform this reply into the 1,000,000th Box post.

The seriously unfunny Conan O'Brien has said no to moving his show. I guess he's looking for a contract with CSPAN.

Someone over in OMNI suggested that he go to Comedy Central. Might not be a bad move - Conan for an hour, then Stewart and Colbert.

He could be real spiteful and sign a deal with CC that only pays him $1/year for the next 4 years. That way, NBC remains on the hook to pay him $19,999,996.

I don't usually find Conan funny but this is hilarious: http://www.fandome.com/video/112622/...Time-Baseball/

If I'd been able to run all of that through my CostCo Amex, that would've been worth about $800 extra coming back to me at 2%. Shame my credit limit would've made that problematic.

Nah! It caps out at $500!

I am popping in here to congratulate The Penalty Box.

Until not long ago, the Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Post? An OMNI Game thread had the most mileposts of any thread ever on FlyerTalk. The Penalty Box now has that title.

Also, very soon, The Penalty Box will be the most viewed thread ever in the history of FlyerTalk. The title currently belongs to The Delta Forum Lounge Thread — Everybody is Welcome!, but not for long:

By the way, does anyone posting to The Penalty Box ever experience any database errors? That has been a problem in both The Delta Forum Lounge Thread — Everybody is Welcome! and the Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Post? An OMNI Game threads, and is even the reason why the Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Post? An OMNI Game thread has been temporarily locked with a satellite thread currently in use.

Anyway, congratulations to The Penalty Box for shattering some FlyerTalk records that were held for a long time.

Are you sure? I know the 2% Executive bonus at Costco caps at $500, but I wasn't aware of a cap on the 1/2/3% for using the CostCo Amex. I know they take gas down to 1% after you spend $3000.

The Wii doesn't render in HD, so there's no need for HD cables :-:

That can be edited to:
