Hi Box (after a long break due to too many personal things going on to keep track).

Dear Box Denizens, especially those in IAH,

If you spot Pepsi Throwback in stores, would you mind buying a 12-pack or two? I will pay you cash and arrange to pick it up. :D

I was looking for it the other day. I saw four 12 packs of Mountain Dew Throwback on the top shelf of the soda aisle, but nothing else. Not even Dublin Dr. Pepper. It was .

All dried out and ready for teh basement. As of this moment, it is being set tomorrow. But, of course, that can change at any time.... Do you want to come and watch? I don't know what time it is happening, but I doubt it will be before 8am and I'm sure they are going to be taking all day to do it. They have to do someething with the crushed stone first - tampit down or something - so I expect the walls won't be flown until mid-late morning. You have my cell phone number - right? Text me yours, and I'll call you when I know a more definite time, and you can come on over and have dunkin and watch the action.

Edited to add:

this is my 5,000 post to Flyertalk! Completely passed me by until reminded by adelauro that I had passed 5k!

and teh offer to watch my basement walls being flown in and set is open to any of the esteemed Box Denizens who are able to get to central NJ tomorrow morning.

All of my UA flights this weekend were fine too. It's the first time I've flown on UA, and I was quite happy with the service. The FAs on all of my flights were actually really great. (dare I say, in some cases better even than CO ...:eek::eek:)

My DEN-ONT was on a newly converted ex-TED A320 with the new leather interior. Actually, a lot of the old TED routes are now on converted A320s with the freshest interiors in the UA domestic fleet. ^

Most of my flights were on Airbii. Don't know if they were ex-TED or not. They had the leather interiors.

FYI, the tampon run is back, $200 more than before. Not quite the value as it used to be.

What is the best run for the tampon run?

Seems to be pretty endemic in BNA-area stores. Don't know if it's because of or despite the high consumption of sweet tea here.

I saw a ton of it on an endcap at Target the other day here in MSP. Could have bought a year's supply if I wanted to.

I've been looking for it in Houston as well. Cannot seem to find it.

A year's supply would have been ideal. ^
