So through a little bamboozlement, and a trip on C:rolleyes:C:mad: I brought teh Canuck to the spot we met 6 years prior. I began telling her how incredible the past six years had been and what a journey we had been on, and how I was excited to see what the next chapter would bring us. First short day of work done. I fought with a brand new laptop. Someone played with it on Friday and then wanted the other new one. Why that other person orginally wanted a computer with WinXP instead of Win 7 is beyond me. I had to fight to get into the admin settings and then the wireless connection didn't want to work for a while. Then it started to work so who knows. Place was a complete mess today as everyone was stealing furniture from the one now empty office. Boxes stack everywhere too. We don't know what to do with the boxes too. Chuck them or find the time to see if there's anything of value in them. So now I have an .edu e-mail address, university staff ID, and very expensive parking permit $80 (expires end of year) but that permit allows me to parking in almost any lot on the various campus.
Oh possible Noreaster late Friday/Saturday.
