Hey, BL JR has four careers picked out, no reason CM can't too :D:p

ETA - My advice on anything related to marriage should be taken with a pillar of salt.

Understood, but I ask because I'd like to hear the opinions of those who have previously made the decision.

Well, I feel like that, but I am having difficulties saying "I do," knowing that, when we do so, we get whacked due to the way the tax code is written. So financially it probably makes more sense to stay single and live as two separate entities, but that is hard to explain to her and to others.

I'm probably at that point.

Also, if you harbor any serious doubts whether she accepts you for you (i.e., she doesn't view you as some sort of project that can be molded, or "improved")

Yeah, that's a big part of it. What I didn't post above was that teh Canuck (despite her propensity to get me to book on US ) genuinely accepts me for me. She laughs at my , and when she's not laughing, she 's right along with me.

She also likes tacos. :-:

Ohhhh, yes. Good idea. I'm definitely in as long as I'm not up in the air or with a client!

I just learned that I may have to take a trip to New York on business sometime soon. In the event this does occur, where should I avoid staying if the client visit has offices just south of Times Square?

Thanks,

Mackieman The Ignorant (about New York)

Got home at 7:30am; Mr.Brit was a dear and picked me up from the station. I came home, put LittleMissBrit on the schoolbus, packed MissTeenBrit off to school for her mid-term, took a shower and took a 3hr nap!

All is good!
