Considering I bailed at an HIP point, and the US flight was only delayed by 2 hours (I just decided to fly home out of convenience, as I didn't want to sleep on the floor at LGA for 3 hours before my flight back to IAH), I decided to let it go.

PHX-JFK was delayed to the point that it would not arrive at JFK until after Midnight, and I had an 05:50am LGA-IAH (the on-timeness of which appeared in doubt, due to the :rolleyes: weather, and which could have caused me to be very late to work). I just bailed and booked a one-way PHX-IAH. It cost me ~12,000 BD miles, but those would have been surplusage, anyhow, as I now have enough for an F award to Europe, or an F award to S. America and a Cash&Miles C award to Europe.
