There are a lot of furniture stores in the 183/Burnett Road area. Furniture Row (bunch of different stores) is down there and is very reasonable.
Lacks and Star Furniture are reasonable as well. Of course there is always Crate and Barrel.. :rolleyes: |

I called UA and explained the issue with the CO flight being late consistently (it appears to be a creeping delay), sdm1130 suggested that this may be because a 764 is out of service right now.
I asked to be proactively put on another flight, she offered to put me on the 4:35pm LH flight for $1000 fare change + $250 change fee. The only other DRS flight is at 4:25pm which she said LH would put me on, my hang up with that is it getting to DRS too late to catch a train.

Morning, Box. Seems like ALCO, Scott6067 and myself all had a fun weekend of MRing.
Mynext MR is next Tuesday. Same day turn PHL-SAN on CO. Fingers crossed for EUAs, pleeeeeeeease. Agent "Sir, you have credit on Jan 8 and Jan 9 for flights IAD-EWR" Scott "That is correct for the flights I took on Jan 7 and 9th. I also flew the same flights on Jan 8 and got no credit. I flew IAD-EWR three days in a row." Agent "This confirmation number KUJ&*TG?" Scott "No that is one of the other two tickets into and outta IAD. You are looking for ticket confirmation number JUYG^&G" Agent "I see, the one you flew on United?" Scott "Yes" Agent "Yea, i was a little confused, first I told myself it was not possible to fly all those flights, then I reconsiderd once reviewing your flights. I am correcting and miles will post within 24 hours! And if there is a problem, call me back directly and only talk to me as no one else will understand!! :)" Had to be in the top 5 of my calls to any CO agents so far in Life!! |

I would like to do an SJC turn this year, along with SMF. Two dots I don't have. I've been to SAN, but not via IAH. All depends on the school thing. :-:
With UA, why not book a PHL-DEN-SMF-SFO-SAN itin or something like that where you can get SMF in the FM. |
Howdy B:rolleyes::-:.
I think that 2010 is going to be a really light travel year for me. Really light. I don't think we'll be crossing any oceans or imaginary lines. :rolleyes: The only trip on the (far) horizon is FLL. With all the :rolleyes: about bag fees, I think I'll try B6 EML for that one. :-: |

We're going to need new furniture. Are there any furniture stores that aren't like doing business with the fourth concentric circle of hell? I don't know a lot about furniture and am not looking forward to finding out the hard way. |
I am trying to bring everyone together under the UA sucks banner. IT is not working.

I worry about quality from places like Lacks, but I don't have anything concrete to base that on. JCPenney has some great prices on nice looking stuff and I used to work for them when I was in school so I know all their stuff doesn't completely suck, but I worry about buying something I've never sat in before. I dunno what to do. :o:(:confused::-:
We just bought a couch from C&B and the only way it was affordable is that we had gift cards from the wedding. They have nice stuff but clearly think too much of their furniture. But then again, if you all are going to keep the stuff for a long time, the investment (and I use that term lightly) might be worth it. There used to be a store called Storehouse who had really nice furniture. But even nicer was the clearance center they had in Houston. I got tons of great stuff for half off C&B type prices. Sadly, they closed down a few years ago. Other than the couch, no new furniture for us. |

All of my UA flights this past weekend were fine, with the exception of ONT-SFO on a packed CR2.

Hmmm... I know I have some friends that can for sure help you out on Thursday. Was talking with several people in the PC about the IAH-FRA flights. are these delays weather or aircraft issues?
