It is an advanced move, generally played when you've hung out with the same bartender more than once to the point you get a rapport of sorts.
Getting to that level at the Morton's on Connecticut in DC was a scary situation for me. It was shortly after that when I quit my job and very quickly lost about 20 pounds thanks to a significant decrease in alcohol intake. I've manged to increase the alcohol back up to near that level but kept the weight off fortunately by actually not hating myself and trying to eat and drink my way out of it. Big improvement if I do say so myself. I'm trying to workout more now though in order to keep the weight off. Alternate between cardio and weights every day right now. |

That should work for us -- GF's b-day is Sunday, and we don't have any other plans for the weekend. We can host you in Hyatt Regency Club if you want -- free booze and appetizers. :p
And, of course, we'll have to confirm with fozz on the details. |
Door isn't shut yet, but I think I won! ^

I don't get back to HNL until ~4:45pm on Saturday so it will likely be a mad dash to the hotel and a shower before dinner. Speaking of which, perhaps not too early a dinner, just in case?? ;)

Anyone in FLL that would like to meet for a drink or dinner (late notice, I know) should put up the  signal. I guess I will check again in about 20 mins before heading out for dinner with my client.

Good afternoon, Box.
As Olton Hall quite rightly noted, Lake Brit now has foundation walls installed. Very cool! What was even cooler was having OH there to describe the engineering of such, and how good they were, etc. Put my mind at ease about the whole thing. It was pretty cool to watch the walls being dropped into place. The accuracy of installation was amazing. They were spot on. Exactly in the right place. And very, very straight! We did not do Dunkin' unfortunately. However, Olton Hall and I did have tea on the neighbour's lawn! Sainsbury's Red Label English Tea at that! Sadly, it was not in a china tea cup, rather a plastic cup! Oh yeah, I also took OH to lunch at MeeMahs Malaysian restaurant in Edison. Yummeh! |
