Good afternoon, Box.
As Olton Hall quite rightly noted, Lake Brit now has foundation walls installed. Very cool! What was even cooler was having OH there to describe the engineering of such, and how good they were, etc. Put my mind at ease about the whole thing. It was pretty cool to watch the walls being dropped into place. The accuracy of installation was amazing. They were spot on. Exactly in the right place. And very, very straight! We did not do Dunkin' unfortunately. However, Olton Hall and I did have tea on the neighbour's lawn! Sainsbury's Red Label English Tea at that! Sadly, it was not in a china tea cup, rather a plastic cup! Oh yeah, I also took OH to lunch at MeeMahs Malaysian restaurant in Edison. Yummeh!

Olton Hall took lots of photographs, and also shot some video. As did Mr. Brit.
However, the liklihood of me getting my act in order and posting pictures to the web is probably nil! So, Olton Hall, you have my permission to post shots of my basement wall installation for the Box's consumption should you so desire! Of course, I am making the assumption that everyone is falling over themselves wanting to see them .....:D ;) :p

I like the fact that I can change the font size.
For oldies like me, whose eyesight is not what it used to be .... that's a great plus! Especially when you forget your glasses all the time! :D:D |

It was my pleasure. Thank you and Mr. Brit for allowing me to watch this in person. Much better than watching it on This Old House and Home Time. Thanks for lunch too. It was yummy. I felt a bit under dressed for that place.
You seem to be trying not to do the boys and their toys roll eyes. ;) Here are the photos It was fun having you there with us! glad you like the lunch. You were not underdressed at all!! It's a very informal place. I did think it was very funny that you guys all loved those toys! thanks for posting the photos! Excellent pictures. Well done! I am soooooo glad the foundation is in. Now on to the rest of the stuff! |
am guessing the panels just bolt to the foundation |
