Very much so at times. I also hear less than glowing remarks about functionality on Hilton's website.

I think that's the principle some of those wine chillers use - they spin the bottle in a cold liquid to take a white from room temperature to serving temperature in a couple of minutes.

I offer for your approval, The Cooper Cooler! A friend of mine was on the team that helped design this. His masters thesis at Cooper Union College was on thermodynamics and heat transferance. He actually got the college to buy him lots of beer and wine (and some soda) to develop and test it. His brother brought an early prototype to my house and we did some EXTENSIVE field testing to make sure it wouldn't break down or wear out after being used for a long period of time with quite a few 'beverages'.

I remember him telling me that the biggest design issue was getting it to not rip the label off of glass bottles while it was spinning them.

Getting your school to buy you beer so you can use it for experiements gets a ^ in my book any day!

How ya feelin' chief?

Feeling just fine - during the semester, I don't check the Box until I report for office hours.

Greetings, Box

I love working in Italy. Two and half hour lunch, and by 5:00 the client is calling it a day.

Mornin' box.

Stupid client. Ended up moving forward against my recommendation which resulted in a 18 hour day and me getting back to my hotel at 3:30am.

To everyone going to PRG, have fun!

I approve! ^

Our preferred beer-chilling method in college was a big tub, a few bags of ice, a bag of rock salt, and a surplus high-shear mixer to keep the water moving.

Hilton has what is perhaps the most dysfunctional website I've ever used.

Sadly no. Likely better as I don't need to be causing an international incident. ;)
