Mardi Gras is 2/16. Too bad they'll miss it. If the Saints win the Super Bowl, the weekend before it will be unbelievable. The QB, coach are the Kings of Krewes Parades and many players are riding.

Mardi Gras World is now on the East Bank, on the river, just uptown from the Convention Center.

CM is welcome to use our car while he's in MSY so they'll have a lot of freedom to see more than the Quarter.

I'll get to Mardi Gras at some point in life, I promise. :-: But the mission behind this trip is, in part, to burn down the HH balance. I'm thinking I'm going to give in to The Box majority and we will become an SPG couple. Hold SPG Gold via the AmEx and build points for stays. I'm firmly in the camp of putting money into air status vs. hotel status.

Thanks for the car offer, George - that's very generous, and with such I would expect you'd have some ideas for things to do. :D I know my other half wants to see Oak Alley Plantation.

I was playing around with .bomb booking multi-segment trips for a MR and I think I have it all figured it out. I was able to price out a 9K EQM trip almost all on CO metal for under $300. I like this UA partership :-:

If you find something like that on UA / US metal, please let me know. :D

One of the benifits of having a gmail address that is made up of the first letter of my first name and my last name is that people fat finger the addresses they enter and I get e-mail from random people who think my e-mail address belongs to someone else. Case in point:

I used to work for NBC. Not the network, but one of their owned and operated TV stations. I thought I left in 2008. I keep getting e-mail from one woman who works for the Today show. She thinks my e-mail address is for some still photographer to get shots of people on set.:confused:

I let her know twice, but... she still sends me e-mail.

Looks like PRG DO flight this weekend will put me over 1,000,000 lifetime BIS. :D:D:D

I must have been drunk when I did my last calculation, which had me crossing the random numerical milestone with my last flight of 2009.

Museum of Flight--good (I give tours)
Pikes place, a bit  but always fun
Everett--way the hell out of town 20 miles plus north of downtown.

I think it's adding the YQ. You need to tell them to get a supv to remove it.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I'm not referring to the YQ glitch, but rather the glitch that is preventing CO agents from "confirming" award space being displayed as available by SK.

I'm sure a bunch of us in the box will do the job for her. I can do That sort of photography (don't have a business set up so I really can't do the Today show)

I have seen people hit each other with fish (one elderly woman hitting another with a whitefish in a supermarket in NYC) ... does that count?
