See - could have used one of your SkyTeam USA waivers. Via Skype (in Paris), I mocked a telephone representative who required me to use a waiver to change my trip home:

Me: "So you are making me use my second waiver of 2009 to make this change knowing this waiver expires tomorrow ..."

Alas...it was a rev ticket where the round-trip cost when I booked it ($140) was less than the change fee ($150).

At HR Waikiki, I will get RC access, which only includes continental breakfast. That is fine, although lunch then becomes a more important meal due to evening food in RC. Breakfast allows one to slide through to RC time to try appetizers. With enough wine, etc., one might not end up eating dinner.

How long is the trip? Is there a 25/50/75 rate? What are the RC hours of operation?

We ended up in Paris (TN) for dinner. Look at Google Maps - I am not making this up.

Two phrases: "throw-away ticketing" and/or "flat tire rule in CHA".

Flight is 5 1/2 hours from LAX. RC opens at 6:00 am, and they have kicked us out at 10 pm. There are complimentary appetizers and cocktails from 5 until closing.

What is 25/50/75 rate?

DL still has a flat tire rule?

Time to get ready for work. Later, Box.

Knowing Delta and their love of no waivers, no favors, I'd guess no.

Sorry - I meant "stay". A very good grazing period. And the 25/50/75 (or 50/100/150) is a Hyatt promotion hotel-specific credit rate during the stay.

Wow, I see you CO folks have issues with folks putting their feet on the bulkhead. Fortunately, AA's planes are so filthy that nobody in their right mind would do so...

DL offered to flat-tire me for $50 to HI (recall I had a major car malfunction in CHA, requiring a stay with scoow's very cool parents). I also changed the flights to Europe without using a waiver on flights I explicitly stated as being my reaccommodation.

Oh, that rate. That rate is $100 per night more than what I held. I need to call the hotel to see if they will release suite upgrade inventory for little old me.

This was a little bit of a joke at the SkyTeam USA DO back in June as well...
