I would do something like that if I could book E+ the whole way.

That's not hard, the only issue is the RJs, not all of them have E+.

Hmm, go to a concert in Houston in September that is outside or go to the same show in Irvine in August outside. The latter involves a miles-earning trip. Hmm.

You can pretty much guarantee the weather will be good in Irvine. In Houston, not so much.

Yeah, that is an issue. Though, if I can get bulkhead on a non-E+ RJ that would still be ok. I am thankful that even though AUS gets a lot of RJs from UA, all of them have E+ and even F most of the time.

I don't think the weather makes up for Irving .

Well, my only concern is that the show is in late August when SoCal gets its two day spurts of 110 degree days. While the humidity is low (or non-existent) that is not an enjoyable time to be outside. San Diego is a tad better than this but it's a crapshoot. But you're right in that there is a much higher chance of comfortable outdoor weather in SoCal that weekend versus a 100% chance of festering in Houston.

You'd need 60,000mi., and roughly $800a/i (my guesstimate, might even be a tad higher) to a Cash+mi. on a Zone 3-5 redemption. Still, not a bad deal for a biz ticket to a hard to reach region.

If I got to that point and had the option to take that itinerary, the $800 would be no problem at all.

Best of luck to sdm1130 and CMike

Just got done with the second and final one...feeling pretty confident so far...hit all my points well (and it looks like a lot of the people also interviewing are recent college grads, while I have a good bit of indirect experience for this role).

I would be happy to help with any needed KVS/ExpertFlyer (LX Availability) research, to assist in putting together an intriguing assortment of carriers and routes, should you ever need it.

Be advised... dealing with the ICC requires the patience of Job.

Nice. I had a much better feeling about the gig I got after I left the interviews.
