CO might not give away free ponies, but we are getting unicorns.

:o I definitely missed that typo. I suppose I type suite a lot more than I type suit.

You can have e-mail sent to your phone as SMS. Depending on who your carrier is, some combination of [email protected] will send messages to your phone as SMS.

Actually, I can't confirm the address within Yapta since text messages are too short to receive the confirmation link. Any idea how to get around that?

I can't open my laptop in any non-exit-row seat on CO (leaving aside the fact that my posterior and back ache whenever I am seated in a CO Y seat for any length of time).

As you know, CO elites are supposed to get access to E+ at booking in the second quarter.

As for CO getting E+, my guess is that will happen about the same time CO starts giving away free ponies to Elites.

Yeah, but my issue is that the details of CO elites getting E+ is not yet released. Thus, at least for me, there is no guarantee. If I cannot guarantee at time of booking a seat I fit in, it's a non-starter for me. I have a great fear of showing up to an airport and not being able to take the trip due to seating issues. But I'm significantly larger that most people.

I dunno if a redirect would solve his issue. My understanding of what he's saying is that the messages he gets from YAPTA are much larger than the standard 140 character SMS message size, so his confirmation URL gets cut into multiple messages and is thus useless. Funneling that through another domain isn't likely to overcome it unless some fancy processing is put in place to strip out the URL, encode it in tiny.cc, and then forward just that via SMS to his phone. Doable, sure, but a bit of work.

That is, unless I'm way out in left field and you had a different idea? I'd love to hear about it because this isn't the first time I've run into this problem.

Have messages sent to address [email protected] and confirm. Then change to forward to the phone.

My brain is clearly not firing on all cylinders this morning, so I am confused. Can you elaborate? It seems like forwarding a message from one e-mail to another e-mail and then to the phone still runs into the same issue of 140 characters.
