I figure there's gotta be some comic gold with the NBC Soap Opera situation that is late night right now...

Conan. He may be an unfunny large troll, but I'd rather hear his anti-NBC jokes as they are current. Dave's take on NBC is as old as when he left, and he still thinks there are hookers in Times Square.

I'll save you the time: probably the most banal thread I have ever read.

Best thread ever.

I am watching one of the girls on the jersey shore take out the trash. By trash I mean skanks. Hilarious.

I am watching Dog the Bounty Hunter for my Hawaii fix. Unfortunately, they are in Denver.

I heard the real story behind all of this on O&A today, as Jim Norton was close to Jay long before the switch to Conan was announced. Believe it or not, the current situation goes all the way back to Letterman getting passed over. If anyone has not seen that HBO movie on the topic, it's a must see. Watching Bob Balaban scream at Kathy Bates is classic. "F..k you. F..k you, Helen. F..k you and the horse you rode in on."

When I was much more fit (10-12 years ago), there was a day that I was riding my mountain bike up and down the beach path through Santa Monica (MDL to PP), and Conan was doing the same. We both had the same helmet.

I started to notice that folks were taking my picture. Then, there was the moment when Conan and I were next to each other. I passed him again and he said I looked good!

I am tall and pale but don't really look like him. It was funny because he picked up on what was happening to me.

339 a/i from PDX and SEA, provided you're willing to roll in DL Y.

However Conan himself is not very funny. I guess you would have to go with Letterman.

Conan's been pretty solid tonight so far.

I really need to get a DVR so I can watch one live and the other later.

The best part of the whole thing is that Conan complained that he "only had seven months" to helm the Tonight Show. Well, let's see...given that the ratings basically dove off a cliff after about Day 3, I would say that seven months provides a sufficient sample.
