Oh, that rate. That rate is $100 per night more than what I held. I need to call the hotel to see if they will release suite upgrade inventory for little old me.

Call the Hyatt diamond line - they seem to have pretty good pull ;).

Hawaii Hyatts have the best RC's in the US. The Waikiki staff is awesome! I e-mail with the staff there at least weekly. ^

Given what I teach, I would have loved that. And I've had drinks with remarkable faculty who've passed way too early (e.g. 50's).

I figured as much. Peter and I shared an office when I was administration student rep. Despite having program named after him, he shared office space just like every other professor. I also used to drive him to/from school when my schedule permitted.

I have many of his books with signatures! ^

I was off doing an audit function for another (yes, after 6 beers). Wished I had such great colleagues in grad school.
