I have some DL miles that I would like to burn before I drop from Plat to general member in March. If I book a trip that departs in February but returns in March, will my boarding passes on the return still reflect Plat status so that I have access to elite check-in and boarding (I'll already have my seats reserved, so that won't be an issue)?

Agreed. While taking the tube is longer, it's far less money.

Agree. I'd just as sooner go on the tube and save myself a bunch of money.

No no, in lieu of the black-cab, there is the mini-cab. You just can't flag them and have to book them like a car service. Though most of the drivers will negotiate and it's generally half the cost of a black cab, at least the last time I used them.

When are you going, LHR will probably be very fun to depart from :D
By the way, all of the SPG properties in London sound quite tired... Is one more tolerable than the other? |

Wow. That was an F kit, right?
The women's ones are even more expensive as they are white or a shiny brown. |

I figured instead of starting a new thread I'd ask in here. I'm hoping that someone in the Box can help with this. I'm flying EWR-SFO on a W fare. I see that the M fares for the outbound flight have available "Platinum Elite Upgrade Fare" links next to them. Can I buy up from W to M? I know that I can buy up on the reservation page, but that is a buy up to D. Can this be done? I'm a bit confused. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

This is actually for my parents, so I'm trying to make it quick and convenient even if there are cheaper options. I can't wait to hear what security is like there - as you said, it should be very fun to depart from! :)
