Big appointment,tomorrow afternoon that doesn't look as if it can be changed(major reason for trip out) but believe we can finish up and make it to airport for a 5:15pm US flight with seats showing as available.

Does US offer same day(24 hr period) stand-by at no charge?
There is a UA flight at 6:25 as well, what are chances US would send me over to UA a day early?

I have already burned most of mine and have enough left for a coach redemption to Hawaii, plus a little bit. Rather than let the miles go orphan after I drop from Plat to GM, I figured I would just take another trip to Hawaii next month and burn the remaining miles.

Is it possible to mix reward classes on a single trip, i.e., one way business, one way coach?

or you can redeem from one of their european routes to KUL, the CPT route is hard to find because of the frequencies, but is possible for redemption.

If so, that could be a good redemption, though I wonder how many miles it will eat up. The nice thing about 200k is it's two roundtrip EU runs. I definitely want to go back to BCN and I was trying to find some other place that would be fun.
