We are definitely going to do a long weekend in NYC sometime in 2010, so we'll plan far enough in advance to alert the NY/NJ Box contingent.

I'm not a consultant, so no extra billable hours, but I get the heavy drinking part. :D Also, the occasional clueless client is good for my plat requal. I had to leave DFW last night to come back here to DC. My manager and I are now deciding if it's worth it for me to go back to Dallas tonight, or just come home and "do Dallas" another time. Either way, I come out ahead.

What is truly :rolleyes: about this client is that their tech guy could have done the same thing I did, working with our tech guys in NY on the phone.

Perfect timing to help us move *hopefully* :p. We are still waiting to hear if we can do our punch list and inspection this weekend. This will include them having to rip up the floors and relay them. Some dumb:rolleyes: forgot to turn the a/c on when they sealed the wood floors and every unit that has sold has made the builders replace the floors because they are warped.

Wow that blows! You would hope that builders would be more careful than that.

My house has stained concrete on the first floor. The original contractor jacked it up in about 6 houses, including mine. The top coating started peeling up. Had to move everything out of the first floor while they redid it. Thankfully that coincided with xmas and I was out of town.

I pretty much live in FTW now Mon-Thurs every week... Perhaps our paths may cross at DFW (the PC staff there is awesome).

Finally coming up for some air after a long couple of weeks of preparing for our industry's largest trade show next week. Between negotiating some partnerships and a huge marketing push, I am pretty much toast. Thankfully PMAM3 has given me a slight diversion, as has a couple of side ventures.

LegalTech New York, here we come!
