Hilarious - under "Other" -> "Government Services", there's over $30k on my year-end summary ... And this wasn't the only card I used last year.

It took me a little while to realize just what that was... even though I did a little on my AMEX cards I still was still over 300....

100% (though really ~ 99.8%) of my DL AMEX spending was "Other - Government Services".
98% of my SPG spending was "Other - Government Services".
97% of my HHonors spending was "Other - Government Services".

I haven't been buying coffee out recently, but I did just empty the gift card that I got for Christmas and I did retain said gift card just in case I wanted to auto-recharge it. Might have to make them pay for their lack of comprehension skills by dinging them for 120%. @:-)

That is very  For as much as I love Dunks, I've had to chew out a few people there for English Comprehension Fail in the past.

Sounds like a colpuck WIN and a Plus1 FAIL.

That's a good excuse.

When I was your age (all of 6 years ago), I wasn't traveling so much and I did cook a fair amount. I attribute that in part to my job - I was doing R&D work at Kraft at the time, and they provided lots of opportunities for learning cooking as "extra-curriculars" in the office.

Plus, cooking for 1 isn't terribly economical, anyhow.

Oh you know :) I just don't share as much as our cucumber friend. Though I have no issues with said sharing.... I just don't think my FT Handle would have been nearly as anonymous in a WSJ article...

If they happen to be right across the street from work, I can see that as a very reasonable response.

I've moved into a mode of cooking for multiple meals - there are five chicken breasts in the fridge thawing for tonight's dinner (and a few other meals) right now.

I mean, if by cooking one means grilling, I'm quite good at that. Unfortunately, highs of 20 in Minneapolis aren't conducive to said activity.

Thus, in the winter my "cooking" is throwing a piece of chicken on a George Foreman grill, boiling some water and making some spaghetti, and eating some kind of veggie. Anything more complex than that generally is a massive fail.

They are across the street from work and they are also not terribly out of the way on this town's main drag. And as luck would have it, I'm running out of coffee in the house. A few pounds of regular Dunkin' at 20% off sounds like a plan.

That's why I keep my SO around ;-)

I am very much enjoying this bottle of J.J. Prum Riesling Kabinett.

So, minutes after I post here about my AMEX Year End Summary... I get the following email:

American Express (AmericanExpress) is now following your tweets on Twitter.
CREEPY!
