Do I respond back to a stupid work email tonight? or tomorrow when I've had a chance to think about it? Methinks tomorrow.. but so tempting to hit "send".

Probably won't do that. :)

Always postpone responding to morons, you'll feel better about not making the CLM.

And debating if offering a client the time I have available during the week after Christmas is worth the additional bonus I'd get if I was booked that week versus sitting home.

This or for the BBC's little article go Here. Read through it for a known Boxian. It all started in the TSS forum on Sunday afternoon and has been going ever since. It was ABC news' lead story.

You left the ™ off that Awesome.

Speaking of that particular airline, why is it that their check-in has become a total mess at every airport? Sunday at LAX my partner had a 30+ minute wait to get to a kiosk to print a boarding pass, followed by another 25 minutes to drop a bag, and the security line was out the door. I walked him down to the CO Elite Access security line with me and we cleared it together at Terminal 6, but had he gone through the non-elite line at Terminal 5, it would have been another 25-30 minutes to get through security. DL's check-in at ATL is often in a similar chaotic state, and I've seen mob scenes at their check-in counters at IAH and MSY on a consistent basis at IAH this year.

WWTBD?

So I've just found out that I have to go to Greenwood Mississississippi on the week of Christmas. Out on Monday, back on maybe Wednesday evening, definitely Thursday.

Greenwood is ~125mi from both MEM and JAN. Almost exactly half-way between the two. I've got FM lines to both places.

WWTBD?

Well, I guess when you compare them to Airtran. :D

Honestly, the few flights I've had on AirTran this year have been consistently more pleasant travel experiences than the flights I've had on DL. At least with AirTran the employees have all been cheerful, friendly, and helpful, the flights on time, the check-in process efficient, and my seat assignments haven't been lost multiple times through repeated schedule and equipment changes.

Delta cool-aid?? :D

Living in Houston, CO and WN are the only reasonable options for nonstops. Thankfully, neither is bad. In fact, I'd much rather take WN to a destination that is served by CO only with ERJs.

WN flights are great for connecting random non-hub dots on the FM map. I've got lines all over the middle of Texas between non-hub airports thanks to them. And WN's 737s are more comfortable than most of CO's 737 Y seats.

That's a well known  with SkyTeam USA at LAX and even was before the terminals were combined.

Since both are served with RJ145s, I would take MEM because there is one more flight than JAN to which you can potentially SDC.
