EU winter fares in general have been a lot higher than last year until a few weeks before departure. The fact that PRG is not a direct TATL city (except OK) doesn't help wrt pricing. Hopefully, fares will drop. In the alternative, perhaps we could do a EU gateway city with more competitive fares.

Thanks to both of you. Ill probably do the UA RCC in hopes to eat my weight in Milanos (and thats a lot) :).

To all the AA folks in the Box, I am 2 for 2 in requesting a snack as a plat on AA mainliine today and on my flight ORD-SLC the F cabin attendant walked by me in the exit row and saw me perusing Airliners.net and brought me back one of the left over F meals ^^^ I have never been treated this good on AA and am definately writing a letter complimenting the FA's but will leave out the fact they are giving me benefits I probably shouldnt be getting in hopes I can get it in the future.

Well done, I haven't been in "Y" since the new policy went into effect. Eagle has had the policy for a while, and the Eagle folks have always been very accommodating and even thanked me from time to time for being an EXP!

Well ....... sort of, there is a program on Eagle where Plats, EXPs, Business Class Passengers and Concierge Keys get free snacks and drinks. FT Link is here:

There is a program that has been "rough" on mainline that is "unofficial" kinda/sorta (i.e. not part of the "announced benefits package") where EXPs get a free alcoholic beverage and and a snack in "Y". The "rough" part has been pretty spotty implementation and friction with the FAs as it is rumored that FAs make some sort of commission or what not on adult beverage/snack sales. Looks like I will miss out on another round of wintry goodness in Teh Pit. 12/26-27 look to be rather frosty, with a decent chance of white stuff. Long-range GFS shows a particularly cold arctic air-mass setting up over the deep South around Christmas.

Atlanta may spend several days below freezing...

To read the top chart on the meteogram, the wavy colored lines correspond to temps (in Degrees F). 1000mb temp (bottom of that particular graph) is essentially temp at ground level.

I'm an unrepentant cold weather aficionado. Everyone told me three years in Scotland would cure me of my love of cold. Nope.
