I'm surprised no one from The Box is going up to try and catch the first flight! I'm still on the fence a little. If the weather was supposed to be nicer on Tuesday, I'd probably take the plunge but going out there to see the rain fall of a grounded 787 would not be fun at all.

I've decided again going myself, looks like horrible weather.

And so it begins. Soon you'll be pawning your dog and selling meth to add EZE-CPT on MH. Living under a bridge isn't so bad if you spend your weekends in a premium cabin. I get a great wi-fi signal out here, when I'm not fighting the other bums for the last bottle of Night Train. :-:

major major work in progress, probably a few weeks of work ahead of me and undoubtedly quite a few will still be missing.

Hooray for peer-pressure. :D ^

I put more stock in temperature modeling than precip this far out. It could just turn out to be cold, without any snow. That wouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't start getting concerned until about 5-6 days out. If the GFS (which has been especially prescient this winter season) and NAM are saying wintry precip at that point, then I might worry.

Is there any penalty for canceling BD cash+miles rewards?

20 pound cancellation penalty, 25 pound change penalty. Applies to all BD rewards, whether miles only or part cash/part mi.

Thanks - just trying to think about a backup plan for PRG in case the fares don't drop.

Now, an SPG question... Has anyone ever had their rate for a prepaid reservation change to $0? I'm guessing it's just an SPG.com bug but didn't know if it was a sign of something else...

No chance. You need to request missing credits within 6 months.

Get an email from my aunt tonight that CO has a 3 night package for PRG for air and hotel at 592 each. Must look into this.

I'm still stuffed from eating at Don Pepe's tonight. It was great meeting up with the Boxians and Flyer Talkers there. The party I ran to afterwards had two great musicians providing back ground music. One played an electric violin and the other a jazz guitar and they played holiday music. I honestly think they should record what they played as it would be great holiday party music to have in the background.
