I updated my Openflights today with about 120,000 miles-some dating back to 1996. Amazing what one finds when cleaning house, boxes with OLD paper statements

EU winter fares in general have been a lot higher than last year until a few weeks before departure. The fact that PRG is not a direct TATL city (except OK) doesn't help wrt pricing. Hopefully, fares will drop. In the alternative, perhaps we could do a EU gateway city with more competitive fares.

Well done, I haven't been in "Y" since the new policy went into effect. Eagle has had the policy for a while, and the Eagle folks have always been very accommodating and even thanked me from time to time for being an EXP!

I'm on my iPhone and will look later but the dimensions of the 787 vs the 777 really interests me. Just from the pictures it looks smaller so I'm wondering how the seat layout will work.

Boeing samples are 3-3-3 in Y and 2-2-2 in J just like a 767. boeing paperwork compares to a 763.... 242-317 passenger(for -3 high density short range)

As it stands now, 27th will likely be the tail end of the hard freeze (looks like temps will be below or around freezing for a full day). Then again, this is an 8-16 day long-range model. Timing could be off a bit. The weather geeks (and their models) seem to be in pretty decent agreement that X-Mas week will see High pressure slide down the front of the Rockies at some point, bringing in some very cold air to the Deep South. We shall see. :D

Looks like the Red Bull Air Race is starting to put together schedules. My wife and I really want to go but will probably only be able to do the US or Canada tour. Is there any interest for a mini DO once we find out more information?

Yea, the 787 is more of a 767 replacement than a 777. The 767's are 2-3-2, not 3-3-3 even though the 787 will be 3-3-3. The 787 is narrower (4" according to wiki) so that'll make Y more :mad::rolleyes:.
