Good afternoon, Box. Coming to you live from south of the festering pit where you could literally swim through the air. Relaxing inside where the air conditioner dries it out a bit. :-:

Still morning in the dark and wet Bay Area. :td:

I've already had my pot of coffee, lunch and did a dog park run. The silly dog attempted to play with a Great Dane and Irish Wolfhound, the size of ponies. The small dog owners were smart to stay in bed this morning, except me.

I think this is a perfect time to take a nice nap.

MNL is on the same side of the international date line as KUL, so you should arrive MNL on the 21st if you leave the US on the 20th. It is very unlikely that you will get any CO miles for the MH flight. First, the cheapest fare classes on MH earn no miles whatsoever, even in MH's own program. Second, metal controls, as Phudnik stated.

The cheap fare that all of this revolves around involves a forced overnight in HNL connecting to a westbound Island Hopper, so I would arrive on the 21st after departing HNL on the 20th, but leaving home on the 19th. That semantic point aside, if I do take advantage of this fare at some point in the 2010 Elite year, I have no reason to stay in Manila when I have family in BWN. The key, whether paid or redeemed, is to find a way to meet the family in the middle or in BWN and still leverage the cheap CO fare toward requalification.

Fill them with shiny, new dollar coins and give them to your favorite Boxers?;)

Or..... get busy quilting.

Lights are on, tree is up, wine is poured.:-:

Put Crown Royal bottles in each bag and send them to the denizens of our den of dubiousness!

Love the pic! I thought the windows were going to be bigger - but maybe they are and it is just hard to tell from here. Looking forward to that first flight on Tuesday!

I'm In a giving mood, how about both?
They'll be waiting under the tree, just stop on by.
Or maybe Sandy Klaus can do a pony express run.

Today's  lesson of the day, sponsored by your friendly neighborhood EMT.

Remember when your mother told you to always wear clean underwear because you never knew when you might go to the hospital? On the off chance you don't have any clean underwear -- dirty underwear is better than none. @:-)

Also, when recovering from arm surgery performed a couple days earlier, perhaps you should just stay clear of the whole couch moving operation. Because you never know when you might get hit by a car and end up a$$ over tea kettle lodged into the back of your garage.

That, my friends, was a textbook kerfuffle.

I'm on my iPhone and will look later but the dimensions of the 787 vs the 777 really interests me. Just from the pictures it looks smaller so I'm wondering how the seat layout will work.

the 787 is smaller......much smaller than the 773...

Boeing samples are 3-3-3 in Y and 2-2-2 in J just like a 767. boeing paperwork compares to a 763.... 242-317 passenger(for -3 high density short range)

You can either give your car to the valet or park it yourself in the left hand lot and give the guy a dollar to keep an eye on it.

No attendant at the moment - both lots essentially empty.
