Am loving winter Chicago SPG prices. $109/night prepaid ($125a/i) for W Chicago City Center. :-: ^
That's about $100 cheaper than usual. |

I like it but have had much better service at some clones, most notable in Richmond, VA at the Ipanema Grill, foods and service were top notch. Note that it is NOT a cheaper clone, nor more expensive, both costly.
I'm sure I'll be back out here though...If there's one constant in manufacturing, it's that operators always manage to screw things back up to their original state of craptitude. |

Might have to start the year mattress running then...especially if I don't travel...there are some decent room rates up here in MSP at that time.

Indeed I'm not...I'll be spending a lovely 65 minutes in the B Concourse in Memphis. Fortunately no Canadian Torture Tubes on Friday.

The other thing is that my room rates are cancellable - I ended up saving a lot at HP BNA by checking each of the three days before Hockey Do (and cancelling / rebooking).
SPGs look quite nice too since I've got a bonus right now where each stay at a SPG property nets me an extra 1000 pt bonus on top of my regular earnings. |

The AAA rate in many of these cases are about $1-2 more expensive and refundable. I might do that.

Rates in BNA tend to move in $10 increments, so a few days of discounting helps. And my terms on AAA with Hyatt is usually a 4 p.m. cancellation on day of stay - I've revised reservations on the afternoon of visits.

I go through stages where I like to put different stuff in there. The links to the FM pages stay there, but everything else is up for grabs.

OMG - I might stay in CMH on Saturday. Appears to be closest to halfway between my location and ACY with Hyatts.

1st and 2nd rates absolutely crater in a lot of cities. That's when I'm getting two nights ("four stays"), two diamond amenities, two G bonuses, two suites, and a Hyatt FFN for a total of $110.

Sigh! I'm back to being centered now. bugger all I can do about it, other than hit them where it hurts - in the pocketbook. So, I'll just deduct $500 per week delay from the final invoice and they can squeal for it. [QUOTE=icurhere2;12994170]Sorry to hear about la casa de Brit. QUOTE] Thanks, icurhere2. I['m over my rant now. Back to normal!

I'm glad I am not the only one doing that New Years weekend. We are Hyatt hopping December 31 thru January 5. With the previous stay I have, I will end up with 3 FFN's and 8 stay credits for 2010 (unless I can plead for night of 31st for new year). Using the Hyatt gift checks, all of this is done for about $350-375.
