Greetings B:rolleyes:x:

Hope the dubious denizens of this den of decadence are dallying on a dandy day. Verbose? My a....:D

In other news, at least Larry K is not Doug Steenland.:(

I would do it if I had someone else to go with me but it would be a waste of a good ticket if it was just me and the other ticket went to waste.

You can tag along with us on Wednesday. We have 2 extra tickets now. Starts at 7:30 but we will show up at 6:30.

On the phone yet again with CO.

I'm being charged a Korea Passenger Service Charge. I'm not flying to/from/via Korea and neither the Canuck or I are Korean (it's a Korean Passenger Charge, right?).

Very minor annoyance, and rather amusing, but still frustrating.

I'd rather pay it than have them rebook everything, but the  remains high.

WWTBD ...

We're going to HKG. Plan is to be there one day, spend two days in Macau, and then more time in HKG. Do we spend 3 additional days in HKG or (due to non-daily frequency of the EWR-HKG flights) spend 6 additional days?

Well - just PMed sbm12 -- maybe he still wants to go!;)

EDIT: Tix taken!

I am sure it is in the plan, but don't forget to take the MTR down to Lantau and then ride the cable cars to the island for a meet and greet with "Big Buddha"! It was an awesome experience. One felt really close to Asian Culture especially with the Starbucks in the Village at the base.:p

There is a ton to do in HKG - we spent 6 nights and could have spent more.

Plus, you can always do one of the tours up to the mainland or a quick jump on an LCC such as AirAsia.

LOL! The cable cars were down, so we took the long way over (via ferry and bus) and bus/MTR on the way home. And that village has a place that gives amazing foot massages!

Also, do lunch at the monastery - all veggie but darn good!

That's what I was thinking ... the mainland requires a visa, which *4 equals a lot of money for a one or two day side trip.

How many people can I stuff into a room at the Conrad? It seems only two... Am I correct? The JW Marriott will allow four in a room and I can burn off some of my HH points that way ... The only down side is that I'm top tier with HH and a nobody with Marriott :(
