I thought that the laptop talking to me was isolated to Firefox. It happens in IE too.

Yeggggh.

I find it interesting that 3 area Rock Stations are playing Christmas music 24/7 and one of them started Nov 1. :( I love Christmas Carols but not for 2 months straight.

This has been my general feeling most years but it seems different this year for some reason. It may be because it is my first Christmas as a married man and my better half is nuts about the holidays and her joy infects me, but I'm ok with it. :) I also think that my staunch avoidance of retail establishments from mid-November until after New Years also helps with this. Never am I more thankful for the Internet and UPS/FedEx than I am during the holidays.

I had a great time over Turkey Day and Christmas is shaping up to be nifty as well. ^

There is a station in PHX that does this as well. A DJ on one of the sister stations commented, "Well, Christmas music has started over on 99.7, I can see Bob over there already has his bottle of Jack Daniels and a pistol. It's going to be a long holiday, folks."

I used to wear a six-foot Santa hat while working in the casinos. I would put it on December 1st and wear it until I left for my customary Christmas trip. I would also wear it in the airport and on the plane, both ways. This picture doesn't show it well, but the barrel of that hat goes down my back and comes back to being over my shoulder.

No, I'm getting random snippets of techno music and incomplete ads.

I wonder if I will get a plat card in the mail this year or if they will just wait for next year.

The fabulous Mrs. Xyzzy made plat a couple of weeks ago. She received her shiny new card from CO late last week.

No card for you!

In other news, my the outbound portion of my UA flights posted to my OnePass account with no issues. Waiting on the inbound portion we flew yesterday to post, but everything seems ok.

I actually sent it off this morning and i'll follow-up with a call this afternoon, but they are generally pretty quick.

I also grabbed your quote about the woman waiting to hang up and threw that in the email. :)

FRA is not great but IMO LHR is completely out of bounds unless it is an award ticket and there is no viable alternative.

There's a happy ending to my saga (for now...). :-:

I did PM CO Insider and gave him my record locator for the trip so he could look into it if he wanted to. I'm sincere in that CO has some pretty glaring issues with training employees on booking Star rewards and I hope my res. can be used as an impetuous to invest more in properly training the agents.

It shouldn't have to be that difficult.

And no, they aren't StarNet blocking. :D
