Evening Box!

Hope everyone is well tonight! Man, the FF world is just constantly in flux as of late. So, I started to ponder .... Do any denizens of the Box think that reciprocal EUAs are coming between CO and US? Many (if not most) believe that EUA is going to be reciprocal between CO and UA. Do any of you think that we'll see EUA with US. US has pretty similar system to CO, and come to think of it, UA's system will be near identical next year. I do like speculation (this is FT right)?:D There must be some harmonization going on as well between CO and US with the club announcement.

Of course, I know that what I have just stated in logic in no way is correlated nor does one in anyway presuppose the other. I know the downside is that the "CO Harliners" will make is that CO will inundated with US elites fleeing US to fly CO. IHMO, the more likely result would be to offer CO elites much needed inventory in F on US metal as US elites generally report pretty good upgrade percentages.

Thoughts All?

Thinking about it more, you're probably going to want two devices, a server and a client to play the media. You could probably get it all in one box, but it would be custom and probably have a few warts. If the aforementioned PS3/XBox solution isn't your thing, you'd be looking at a UPnP clients to render to the TV.

Honesty, though, in your situation I'd go with the PS3. Yea, it's a game system, buy it'll play Blu-Ray and can hook up to your receiver. The UPnP clients that I've look at would all replace your receiver and look like they cost more than a PS3 (and don't help you with Blu-Ray).

The only issue is NetFlix streaming. You can use 3rd party software on your server for that (such as playon, which I have) but there are some caveats you should know about that (I'll detail is of desired). PS3 doesn't have a native client NetFlix program (yet), like the X-Box,but that has its own caveats.

Adding OP Gold elites on international travel alone is probably going to increase crowds...

I can't say that I really care since I have been doing that on *A itineraries without an RCC membership for a while.

Sorry for not being clear... it's IAH-BOG, which isn't true BusinessFirst, but "International Business" where it's really just F on a 737.

Thanks again!

According to the FAQ, you can access the PC but cannot bring in a guest.

If you are travelling in BusinessFirst internationally or to/from Hawaii you have access to Presidents Clubs (and some affiliated lounges) on the day of travel if you are over age 21. If travelling in BusinessFirst you can also bring up to two guests, or a spouse and children under the age of 21 into the lounge.

If you are travelling to/from a market serviced by International Business or an international destination serviced by First class service you also have complimentary access to the Presidents club. No guests are permitted. For this class of service policy, “international” does include Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Note: This differs from the "international" policy for Skyteam Elite Plus access!

There was a brief, though I'm not too sure if it's helpful, discussion about them the other day here in the Travel Technology forum.

I think that this is possible. Recall that CO/AW were partners up till roughly 6 years ago and they had reciprical upgrades. This makes it seem like it would be possible.
