Well, it sounds like I may soon be added to the list of unemployed members of The Box. I was notified today that due to significant cutbacks at my primary client, my position will likely be going away at the end of November (my birthday to be exact ). The writing has been on the wall for a few months now, so I can't say I'm completely surprised. I'm going to see if my consulting company has any other opportunities that I can pursue, but this situation is also giving me a good kick in the butt to ramp up a job search in other parts of the country as well. Life goes on...

Anyone need an IT PM with experience in IT compliance and web-technologies?

:td:

Nothing else to say except good luck in the search and I hope you're able to find something suitable soon.

sorry to hear the bad news sdm1130, best of luck with the job-fairy

Following that awful incident, I'd start posting everywhere as often as possible about how horrible CO's customer service is and all the while maintaining my Platinum status.

Don't want to get myself in trouble here, so I will speak in hypotheticals:D;), hypothetically, many moons ago, it was the case that certain CO prominent posters(s) would come over to our little NW Forum, and take great pride in telling us how bad we had it on NW, that the product was terrible and the like, and how much better CO was (now, whether this was true or not is a different matter entirely :D).

The times they are changing ....

I would have done it for a recognition on your site and $1,000. <shrug> That photographer made out like a bandit and he/she knows it.

Ouch. Sears does these type of shots for about $65-70 per person, and it includes the disc and rights. The quality isn't so bad, either.

I just mis-clicked and added a typo to my dictionary, but I did it while trying to post. Would that bad entry be found in the Word custom dictionary, or am I screwed on this one word that I goofed on?

Mrs. MBM3 just gave me a review of LiveTV after deplaning in SFO: not working properly. That will frustrate a lot of people real fast...

MBM3 Oct 22, 2009 1:22 pm

That does remind me, I need to get a head shot as well.

You bet your sweet aspercreme. That's what makes it awesome.

One of my most pleasant NYrEve's was seeing Patrick Stewart's adaption of Christmas Carol on Broadway, early 90's. When we left the theater, we needed to get over to Grand Central area, and were going to walk. It was around 11, probably, a warm night, and humanity was spilling down 44 or 45, whichever it was; no way to get across Times Square. Walking up 8th, no crossings, got a cab and had to go all the way up to the Park to get across and back down. Wonderful experience.

I saw Patrick Stewart do The Ride Down Mount Morgan in about 2000 or so. Meh production, but a great performance by him.

I'm sending the job fairy up to you and Olton Hall. For what it's worth, consider Austin. Austin is a big IT town, and there is a rather well known giant IT firm HQ just down the road in Round Rock, and I'm sure you could find something in the area. Moreover, there are still many teaching gigs open across the state for your wife. Just something to consider.
