It's actually flooding up in Georgetown. I'm just hoping the lake levels will start rising soon.

And as I say that, LCRA has announced that Lake Travis expects an increase of 11 feet of water over the next 24 hours. Good times.

This is a "good thing"(tm). We need a good 8ft of water in the tanks there east of AUS.

I recall reading over the summer that many of the marinas on Lake Travis were left high and dry.

Yep, all boat ramps into Lake Travis are currently closed. Hopefully they'll benefit from these rains.

Did they at least manage to keep Lake Austin and Town Lake constant level?

Well done. I'm sure it was an aberration. ;)

A seat in F on the most difficult to upgrade domestic route in the system on the weekend of a convention? I don't think "aberration" begins to describe it!

At leat persistance paid off.....Ms. GadFly was making fun of me for checking seatcounter.com all day on my PDA....she's not making fun anymore :p

Yes, but will you be able to get into the PC without major ? At least you won't need to call a chiropractor to meet you at your arrival gate since you're in F.

My trusty PC card never leaves my side :-:

You deserve an extra paycheck just for your mastery of logic in the face of . You and ConciergeMike could teach a class about dealing with trolls @:-)

Morning Box!

Hope Y'all are well! Just got some tickets for my wife and son to catch Bills-Panthers this weekend. Grew up in ROC before moving to CLT way back in the 20th century:D, so I have divided loyalty issues here. I am going to stay home and watch the two younger ones. Ahh the things we do for family!^

Yes they did - apparently those are constant level lakes.

As long as they can keep Lake Travis above critically low levels, that's true.

Noted. I'm tempted to give my girl one more shot - she's been the only one to touch my hair regularly since about 1997.

ConciergeMike would like this one:

The Box knows I teach on a military installation. As I was leaving post today, I drove by some large military hardware/vehicles conducting a training exercise. The hardware had large metal signs with the words "Student Driver"

As long as the tanks don't have "Student Gunner".

Sbm12 prefers logic and argument on reasonable grounds, using brains to poke holes in their assertions. I on the other hand prefer caustic wit, overt sarcasm, and hatred of stupidity to get my point across.

Morning, Box.

Time to make the foods for her mom's party.

Well, I'm sure we'll get egged even if we're home, but at least the clean-up will be easier if we can attend to it within 72 hours of it happening.

Is the egging a sure thing? Last year I left on 10/31 and didn't have any issues, but IIRC this is your first Halloween at your hosue.

I saw that about CO and was pleased to see that. I was reading in the Houston Chronicle about the quarter and the pilot talks and thought it interesting that the pilots and management could agree that the process of talks is flaw due to Railway Labor Act.
