WOW. I have missed the drama back home today. A friend's brother is in town. Last night they went out with my partner for dinner and drinks and karaoke at a local bar. A guy who was once a closer friend of this friend, and of my partner, shows up with his Skanky Tramp female friend, mostly uninvited. Skanky Tramp female friend of the sort-of friend starts hitting on friend's brother. They end up going home together. Friend is justifiably ticked at his brother, because he knows Skanky Tramp's history. Sort-of friend that nobody really likes thinks the whole thing is funny.
Skanky Tramp is in her early 30s and just got divorced for the 4th time in less than six years. Turns out that friend's brother wasn't the only guy Skanky Tramp picked up yesterday. He was the third guy she picked up yesterday, and the first one was well after the lunch hour. She has a habit of stalking these guys and wanting them to become more than just a one night fling, so friend is mad that he may have to start putting up with her presence on a more regular basis. Apparently all four of Skanky Tramp's marriages came out of relationships that started under similar circumstances — and all four marriages were to guys she had known less than three months at the time of the marriage. My partner has just been filling me in on the gossip. What a train wreck. |

Pam Ann was a blast! ^ I highly recommend her if she's coming to a city near you. You won't regret it.
After the amazing routing for BL JR and I, I came home to book Plus1 for his simple IAH-LAX (to pick up his daughter) -HNL-LAX-IAH. Yep, you guessed it - more than my IAH-NRT-GUM-HNL-LAX-IAH (which were all a combo of B and Y fares and a very, very small mileage upgrade). I may have to ditch this trip and just figure something out for she and I to do before we have Thanksgiving and come up with a plan B. I also have a weekend where Plus1 is gone and have figured out a routing to get 24k (with double eqms) without her missing any school. Sigh. That was so perfect. |
