Wow - isn't that the definition of (moderately) fast food that you were trying to avoid?

SSH?

DXB is great as 2-3 days is enough to see the sights. Plus, the 77W is pretty darn nice in C! Or get yourself a 77L via IAH.

Im doing EK LHR-DXB-ICN and TK ICN-IST-NYC Dec 26-Jan2

That rocks! I am so glad we will be able to go "backwards" to get to Asia!

So you were able to grab the 380?

After seeing a bunch of Dyson commercials tonight I'm surprised he hasn't come up with a new way to wipe his a$$ as so much seems to annoy him.

Yeah I got the 380 on LHR-DXB and the second part changed to 380 as well
in F thanks to the free upgrade from C to F promo they were running months ago.

I had my first ever In and Out last month... it was better than I expected, but I was disappointed at their menu selection (I didn't know anything about going in, other than the fact that my friends all told me I had to go in my first trip to CA).

Speaking of food that shouldn't be consumed on a regular basis, we took a coworker to an 35th anniversary dinner tonight at a Fogo De Chao knock-off. It was pretty good, as usual, but the 6 flambeed bananas were about 5 too many.

Churrascarias are not permitted in my current diet.

Anyone know how to walk to the In and Out by LAX? I'm at Crown Plaza again this weekend but unsure how to traverse Century Blvd.

Editing - is that right? Google maps says 3.2 miles.

Century isn't much of a problem (at least last time I was there - I stayed at the Hilton LAX because my office was in the adjacent building). Century to PCH/Sepulveda/1 and never cross PCH (which bends left while Sepulveda goes straight).

Dinner problem solved. Takeout from one of the local Mexican joints in this neighborhood. Quite tasty stuff.
