Good morning all. Off to play tourist for the rest of the week in NYC. First time I've ever had to do that.

I'm up real early to wait for a guy that's supposed to come measure my cabinets for refacing, but I don't think he's fixin to show.:mad:

Wait, is one from NJ allowed to say "fixin" when referrering to something that's about to happen? I thought that was only allowed by those from LA :D

Have fun - remember food might well be your greatest expense there.

Morning, Box. US helped me out with some milestone flights this weekend. PDX-PHL put me over 900K lifetime BIS, and PHL-FLL was my 700th flight.

The US F product doesn't deserve all the  it gets on FT. It is perfectly acceptable. If you're lucky enough to get a flight with a meal, the food is surprisingly good (about on par with CO's catering). The only big drawback is lack of in-seat power. No IFE and no in-seat power on a transcon is definitely .

Good morning box.

And here I was thinking I was the only other person drinking the US kool-aid.

The refurbed 734s I flew on were fine, too. Exceptionally friendly cabin crew. When dan1431 and I flew PHX-PDX, the FA practically hovered over us to constantly refill our Pomegranate Martinis (which are excellent).

Just picking up on some box lingo. It makes the place a bit more genteel. :-:

In any event, he done fixed on there at 8:45 and was done gone by 9:15. :D:rolleyes::-:

Anyone think I can get the UA ICC to refund a trip based on a 5 minute schedule change for a connecting flight? I bought an EWR-HNL run for Oct. 23-25 that I really don't need or want at this point. I might blow it off anyways, but it seems that there has been a very minor schedule change. Odds?
