After not having done the job for over two years, I just went 26 for 28 on a forklift safety exam.

I haven't driven a tow motor in 12 or 13 years ...

Last time I was on a forklift was somewhere around the end of 2005, beginning of 2006. A USAF-issue Ford F-150 came too close to me while I was driving a load of expended 20mm brass (1800+ pounds of shells) and rattled me to the point that I drove into a fence.

So I tried the Early-Bird check in for my WN BNA-BWI flight tomorrow. Got A-34. I think I'll give the bird to it.

I used it last week when I thought I'd be without a cell phone signal. I got A-26 and A-30 for my flights. Wasn't too happy either. I think too many people are using it. Based on me wiping out my reward account now, I think I'll stick to airlines where I can choose a seat seeing how WN is no great bargain out of ALB and you're basically doomed now if you don't do EB.

Those boarding positions are pretty consistent with the results of checking in online exactly 24 hours before the flight in the days before the new early bird system was started. WN reserves the first 20-25 positions for the Business Select ticket holders, and then anyone with A list status comes next. I think the best I've ever done on the current WN boarding system was A-26, and usually I've been in the A-30 to A-35 range.

Whenever I'm not on the road, I drive them often at work... not because I have to, but because they're fun.

On a separate note: I went to a comedy club tonight and just gave cash toward my part of the tab because it was just easier than asking the server to split it. As I pulled out the cash, I realized that I can't even remember the last time I used green backs. It must have been at least 3 months since I pulled cash out or put cash into my wallet, since I always use coins (except Canada where they don't like 'em). Heck, I even bought a $200 piece of furniture from the Amish using coins :D

Hey, I resent that comment. I use a lanyard for my reading glasses at work and I'm not 60 yet. :D

After tonight I might also be using it as a garrote on my infamous co-worker.

Time for me to say Good Night Box.

I dont think we are ready to talk to a realtor as we really need to figure out where we really want to be Astoria, Brooklyn, LI, NJ, CT. There are way to many places to live up here but we would like to do it without a car so public transit is a must and I do not want to commute more than an hour to the Grand Central area. Ultimately if our current landlord drops our rent when it is time to renew we will stay for another year or two but who knows if that will happen.

Sounds like the right plan for now!

My impression is that the best public school systems in the NYC area are to be found in Bergen County and in parts of Westchester, though this may be based on my freshman roommate, who grew up in Ridgewood, and my wife, who grew up in belynch-land.

It could be worse. You could be a Br:rolleyes:wns fan.

Our HS is rated #1 in the state according to NJ Monthly. It's always rated highly, so the property taxes reflect that!:eek: It's definitely a town-by-town deal when it comes to the local schools.

G'Morning, B:rolleyes:X! Looks like it became quite lively last night after I went to bed. At least I feel like I've caught up on sleep after several marathon phone calls in the past week!;)

I'm up real early to wait for a guy that's supposed to come measure my cabinets for refacing, but I don't think he's fixin to show.:mad:
