Haha. To keep this CO-related, one time I talked to my seatmate on CO98 from HKG to EWR. 15 hours, except for a short nap in the middle of the flight. I was in 44A.

I hear that.

The senior officials in the type of organization I work in are always facing lawsuits - I already trained my interim replacement on how to communicate with legal and that person starts in the office Tuesday ...

I'm impressed. I've never done that but then again I don't usually have interesting seatmates. I have been "picked up" twice on flights. Once from Beijing to Hong Kong and then again from San Francisco to Honolulu. :D

If anyone wants to see the military equivalent, check out Davis-Monthan AFB, the AMARC.

I own an original oil painting, the subject bases of which are the aircraft of that: the perspective of a line of B52 tails, the intake of an A6. Its nameplate reads "Graveyard, Tucson." Not photo-realism, of course, but the artist rendered what was needed (under artistic license) for a unique landscape, and lots is recognizable.

I'll take a photo of it and post it.

Alright - off to bed.

So I am home after a 3 hour drive from DFW. We landed in DFW to much fanfare, 8 firetrucks

Apparantly the nose wheel steering was giving an inop alarm, but it worked anyway. The taxi ways were clear and we made a dash for the gate. Then the firemen had to come on board and interview the captain.

all the while we have these firetrucks lining the runway, then following us and we have no CLUE what is going on, we found out after the fact. No communications at all. in fact FAs were told on the phone, but did not even collect trash.....weird.

Lol!:D We both have 'diarrhea of the mouth' -- you'd think after that long on the phone, we'd need a break from talking to each other -- well, we spent another 2.5 hrs. on the phone later in the day!:rolleyes:

Still recovering from 8 hr marathon phone conversation last night w/friend!:rolleyes:

That is a long one. I had a long day yesterday and then had a 130 minute conversation starting at 12:30 am with guy I am dating. Then up and at work by 7 am. I am so glad today is my friday. Hope to be off by 4 pm and then on the way home after exercise by 4:45 pm. A nap is in order this after noon after 7 days of work straight.

Wow! You have been working too much! I'm a big believer in naps!:-:
My long phone conversations (this was the 2nd this wk :o) are w/someone I met at a workshop we both attended, but we're only just getting to know one another via phone -- sort of like 'dating by phone' as he lives in another time zone!;)

The light rail in PDX is surprisingly lively at 530am. I am unsurprisingly not so lively.

G'morning Box.
