Sounds like a lot of no shows for such a small plane.

think it was a glitch, back to the 3 exits and 1A seat open, the way it was.

Hmmm... quoted ~$900 to charter a Cessna from Windhoek to Swakopmund. If SW doesn't offer an afternoon flight on its Summer schedule, I may be taking the night train (~$10).

How do you do letters?

You just punch the number on which the letter resides. I've done it both the voice way and the typing way and both work like a charm.

$900ish isn't bad at all. :D esp if you can be in the right seat.

Where is the command to add to upgrade list on a flight? I got to get the command to the agent here, he doesn't know, saab's don't have a good first class.

It would be a waste of money. I could purchase a one-way JNB-WVB for $325. Alternatively, award space may open up on JNB-WVB, which would result in a ~$35 change fee to my BD award.

There used to be "scheduled" charters between Windhoek Eros and Swakopmund for ~$110 one-way. That would have been great. However, due to the economic downturn (Namibia was trying to attract primarily high-end fly-in-Safari and Adventure tourists), a lot of air service has been drastically reduced within the country in the past few months. The Namib Air Shuttle (operating the route) ceased operations in April. :(

Also, the night train looks somewhat intriguing. I believe business-class is $25. Not bad for a 10-Hour Train Ride. :-:

Tell the person on the phone to do this entry: 6:811/2AugEWR-your last name$upg#u

This will get you on the stand-by list after check in. This entry works for any flight, anywhere. 6:flt num/dateplace-your last name$upg#u

Sounds like the type of train where criminals gas your compartment as you sleep and steal your belongings.

Finally got an e-mail back from the hiring manager of my interview a week ago. Now they're interviewing additional candidates and I will hear by the end of next week. Such is life. :-:

Going to Honda Carland, I presume?

Great dealership. They've treated my family very well for about 15 years now.
