T-22 1/2 hours before my new job starts. I am excited! Real paycheck, here I come (again)!

Ho hum. I'm bored and have work to do but no motivation to get it done. Reviewing process flow charts in Visio that we need to deliver to a client this week is making me go cross-eyed.

Dealt w/ repairs stemming from Ike. That turned out good. Going shopping w/ the little one for stuff for her. She is napping now.

I know that's a great feeling! I was there in early 2005 when I landed my current job, after nearly six full months of unemployment.

I just finished up a mini project. Have many larger ones in the queue and no motivation as well.

Is that the leak by the window? Did the contractor finally come back out and actually fix it?

My only concern tomorrow will be waking up rather early, since I need to be in at 10. But, I will have to take some time getting the baby ready for daycare. Once I become permanent, we'll either keep her there till pre-school (very expensive), or we'll find a nanny (reasonable). There are pros and cons to each.

Anyone want to deal with my little DIY project that involved sealing up cracks in my yuck concrete patio. I'm at the point of wire brushing off the excess and smoothing it all out before I can re-pressure wash everthing. Oh and it's hot and humid outside.
