For those going to Europe (PRG DO) or just like staying at Motel 6's in the US. Sign up for Accor's 20th birthday special and get 2000 bonus points that can be transfered into $60 certificate. Found this on lucky9876coins blog. I will likely book a room at the Ibis near the SPG property.

Mine starts with "006"... I think my points from Hilton are moving okay, but I've not kept close track. Should I worry?

That's not a BlackBerry. ;) Oh, no?!!;)

On the VZW network I like the Tour if you travel internationally or the Curve if you do not (slightly cheaper, though an older model). There are a couple quirks with the Tour that annoy me sometimes but I'm not sure if they are my device or systemic in the platform. Still, it works pretty much everywhere and the global roaming plan is pretty affordable. I love it for that.

Thanks for the heads up -- Am thinking about the Curve -- don't know if I really need the Tour for int'l travel -- but might!;)

Good for one-way fares, too!

LAS-EWR is included in this sale. $109++

Looks like the fares are good for travel thru end of Jan. Any idea when the sale ends?

Was your Fios down? I was having problems getting to the site earlier.

I've got business Fi:rolleyes:S internet. Yesterday I had the audacity to order residential Fi:rolleyes:S TV. About two minutes after I finished placing my order, the Internet service went down. I called back, got routed to support, and was told after running lots of tests & such for about 2 hours that they had to send a tech out by 1pm today. During this time, I repeatedly told them that there were no hardware issues and that it was a provisioning problem. The rep I dealt with told me I knew lots more about this than he did -- yet he did not believe me. (Neither did his three coworkers.) Placing an order couldn't have caused the problem. He also told me I'd know more than the tech who he was dispatching. I called again, and wasted another hour on the phone. This rep believed me but couldn't do anything because he thought the problem lay in the billing system and billing didn't open until 8am. At 8am billing wasted yet another hour of my time, ending by telling me everything was provisioned properly and that the tech could fix the issue.

The tech arrived at about 10am. Before he could get through the garage and into the house he told me he knew the problem wasn't hardware related but that he had to run the same tests I'd already run in order to prove to his support people that the problem was provisioning-related. He also couldn't believe that Verizon would support business Internet and residential TV off of the same fiber ONT.

After about four hours, during which time he talked with countless support folks on the phone, the last tier-2 rep finally thought to compare my provisioning with that of another customer with similar service. L:eek: and behold  -- things were provisioned differently! Shortly thereafter, they had patched together a proper configuration, that worked! Then, they had to rebuild and properly reload things. Finally, everything was working again.

During this time, another Verizon tech was busy installing all the idiotic cable boxes that we're now required to use (don't get me started on cable boxes -- Comcrap insisted we get them and since we now needed boxes we chose Verizon for some specific programming options they have). Both techs finished at about the same time.

All in all, Veriz:rolleyes:n gets a big :td: Their tech gets a big ^, though. I couldn't deal with the BS he dealt with every day.

And todays post come from the Hyatt GP forum...

From the "Next Big Thing" thread:

If all those promos are combined then I would have sex with Hyatt! ;)

Is it a 3 way OR statement or does the double stay credit stack on top of the award/point option?
Anyone have such feelings towards OnePass? :p
