May 1, 2010; always the first Saturday in May (unless that's the weekend of Mother's Day). One word - NetJets (open house at Eppley for shareholders).

The flights will happen - the question is whether you'll be on them.

Discounts and special shopping times at Borsheims and Plus1's favorite store.

I spent about 3 hours at NFM ;) And a few hours at Eppley / NetJets, drinking fine Coca-Cola products.

Apparently CO ran a 764 on EWR-SFO-EWR Monday afternoon/evening. I wonder what happened there.

Continental Flight: 652
Departure Date: Sep 14, 2009
Status: Arrived Gate 1 Minute Late

I was the boarding agent for that flight. I have no idea why the aircraft swap but it's the second time this month that we've had a 764 in SFO.

I love boarding two aisle planes. We were done boarding in 20 minutes, on a full flight. The only reason why we were late is that the supervisor decided that we should wait for the last passenger. We shut the doors at 9:55 and the plane pushed at 10:01.

Like someone with even less mental capacity (I don't have much to start), I thought it reasonable to drive from the BNA burbs to OMA after working more than half a day. I hit the Illinois / Missouri border (e.g. "STL") at precisely 5 p.m. Fortunately, my soon-to-be schedule never involves teaching on Fridays. And I snagged a room for something like $40 a night last year with my state employee discount.

The FI is really good there (the one near the Quest center). I like it better than the FS Marriott there (save the concierge lounge) and they are very generous with suite upgrades (though that weekend, probably not). I have nothing good to say about the Hilton there but the Embassy Suites is good, the CY Old Market is fine and if you don't mind a closet for a room, the FS Marriott is fine.

Unless there's an absolutely crazy MR again, JFK is not in my future (in other words, "I wouldn't know"). After the generous credit voucher I got from DL not following published policy - I will call anyone out if they don't follow their own rules - less than 0.094 cent per RDM again and a trip abroad may convince me to visit Europe via JFK again.*

* Yes, less than one tenth of a cent per RDM (or more than 10 RDM per penny).

I like anything that's not at a 50% discount to the 52 week high. ;)

Good evening, Box. Just stopping in for a quick look while I'm finishing working. Late night tonight and early morning tomorrow, so not much time to browse the box!

Olton Hall: happy birthday, what's left of it!!

Good luck. Hope all goes well. The Box will be thinking of you!

sbm12: did you receive your package? I had a couple of calls from Fedex.

my sprint broadband is consistently used in hotels, as hotels wifi sucks. Hyatt, IC, Aloft, W, none of them I've ever had good net, EVER.

My understanding is I need to go to a motel 6 with free wifi, it will be rock solid, but alas so will the bed, and blood stained too.

sometimes the hotel wifi is faster than the 800k-1.2mb of my sprint, but it is so unreliable it negates the benefit of it.

Oops. 47 off 147. I don't mean the overall performance, anyway. I just mean the nice round ring to the price.

Surgery on the 'golfing' accident ankle? Hope all goes well.
