There have been lots of complaints about orders coming up short upon delivery. The product doesn't always seem to make it to its destination intact. :-:

Kind of like that Blue Bell ice cream commercial.

I've never found Spain to be too outrageous, but don't expect it to be cheap either. You are still going to spend more there than you would for similar food at home. That's pretty much a given anywhere in Europe these days.

Can't stand these types who don't realize it's the results that count not how much time you put into it due to disorganization.

What kills me is this project started in March. We had questions about time billing back then, that were unresolved into the summer months. However, since July we've had that stuff answered, and she's done a timesheet every week since then. So what's up with the 1,000 word e-mail this morning about it?

And I'm still not sorry she drug herself out of bed so early this morning. I didn't get to bed until 1:00 AM last night because I had to get things done to be ready to walk out the door at 8:00 AM this morning. Then I couldn't sleep thanks to the ridiculously loud rain on the metal roof a few feet above my head. And then I had to get out of bed at 6:30 AM this morning and come to the airport 3.5 hours before my flight so I could hang out in the Sky Club and listen to these stupid calls before boarding my flight. I have no sympathy for her. None.

Oh, and she just sent another e-mail about this, and once again mentioned how she'll be putting in about 80 hours this week to get caught up.

I find MAD to be on the expensive side especially if you go to a Tapas place.
There is no direct train to/from the airport, but you can take the Metro to avoid a Taxi.
Metro line is Linea Ocho (8) and transfer a few times depending on where you are going.

Over the weekend my wife mentioned that she is pretty sure she gets the week between Christmas and New Years off. The BCN trip is already set but now we're looking at options for another trip the weekend/week prior, either to Northern Africa or somewhere else that they don't really celebrate Christmas so much. Any suggestions form the Box?

I would recommend Fez, for purely selfish reasons (I've been wanting to visit, and would appreciate someone scouting it out in advance). :D

Not in Prague (though it has gotten pricier since my last stay), Bulgaria, Croatia, etc...

Expensive is an understatement. You should have seen the look on my face when the waiter at the restaurant brought out three bottles of S. Pellegrino water at $6.50 a pop with dinner.

You know what grates my cheese is when a restaurant charges for a second glass of soda.:mad::mad::mad::mad: What makes it worse is that I ordered a couple of beer too and they dinged me.

The offender in this case is Bahrs in Highlands next to Sandy Hook. :td::td::td: One of the most expensive disappointing meals that I ever had.

I once had a new exec who visibly rolled his eyes when someone was mentioning the number of hours they were putting in (so to get brownie points with the new exec). That exec quickly became my favorite :).

Everything in CH (Switzerland) is expensive, but the salaries are posh too. I actually had a job offer there shortly after I left in Jan making almost as much per month as I make per YEAR now.

Finally, finished my expense reports for the past two weeks. Lots of points on my CCs .

My mother did a resort in Agadir several years ago. That was the trip where she was propositioned to stay in the country in exchange for camels. If your wife still has blond hair, I'd tell her to change it for a trip to Morocco.
