There is an ALCO store about 30 miles from me, I keep meaning to stop and take a pic but every time I go by it is dark....

Somehow an email from a with a weird name regarding my "compensation fund is ready and need to contact the office immediately" does not inspire me to act on it .

Expensive is an understatement. You should have seen the look on my face when the waiter at the restaurant brought out three bottles of S. Pellegrino water at $6.50 a pop with dinner.

Crap. I just yawned out of total boredom with this phone call, and wasn't on mute. I know people heard me. There was an audible pause in the conversation afterward.

Hope they don't figure out who it was.

I once was pounding on the keyboard typing a Box post and someone on the conference call asked whoever that was to put the phone on mute. :o

There have been lots of complaints about orders coming up short upon delivery. The product doesn't always seem to make it to its destination intact. :-:

That has happened to me before as well. Someone asked who was typing so much, and when the other three people on the call all responded "Not me," I was busted. I lied and said I was taking notes. That came back to haunt me two days later when someone e-mailed me and asked if they could have my notes from the call (which of course didn't exist).

Is this an active mistake care? Or an old one you just recently flew?

Old one just flown. Same one that I'm taking to BCN for NYE, IIRC.

Over the weekend my wife mentioned that she is pretty sure she gets the week between Christmas and New Years off. The BCN trip is already set but now we're looking at options for another trip the weekend/week prior, either to Northern Africa or somewhere else that they don't really celebrate Christmas so much. Any suggestions form the Box?

That's cheap. I've paid for $13 bottles.:(

Whinny woman from recently ended conference call just sent an e-mail reminding us how she's been up since 4:30 AM this morning and working on this project since 5:00 AM this morning. I have no sympathy for her. She's not traveling to a client this week, and is part-time. She only works two weeks a month and is only assigned to this one project, so on her two working weeks, she's either home working on this project, or at the client (usually it's one week of home, one week on site per month for her). So cry me a river. I got up early this morning too, because I have to fly to LAX. I'm also actively working with five projects at the moment. So I don't want to hear this crap from her.

The best part of this e-mail is that it's about two pages long, but could be summed up in one sentence: "I don't know how to post my work this week to our time billing system." The e-mail is also to the Project Manager, who is the only person, other than the Account Manager (who was a cc), who could answer this for her. But then she included everyone else on this project as a cc.
