Finally, finished my expense reports for the past two weeks. Lots of points on my CCs .

I've got to work on mine today. Maybe I'll do that on the ground at IAD in a few hours. So far the weather looks like it's going to hold here in ATL and let me get out of here close to on time.

No, it would be a large headache in banking, and some life issues did not allow me to take it then.

G'Day, B:rolleyes:X! Finally able to take & minute & say 'hi'! :p

No time to check up on B:rolleyes:X doings, so if someone could kindly give me a recap for the last week (since baglady's surgery) -- it would be much appreciated!:D

Don't know if Brituchenite mentioned this  experience on the CO flt from PHX yesterday...
Thanks to the upgrade gods & Brituchenite's kind offer to add me as a Plat companion -- I got to fly in F w/her!^

We are settled in & she pointed out that the DirectTV was free for F passengers, so we both decided to watch a movie -- 'The Proposal' -- great chick flick!:D Both of us were coming off a sleep-deprived w/end, & I only got random pockets of actual sleep before waking up at 3am for the day!:rolleyes::eek: So we are both in a silly, giddy mood & ripe for laughs:D! Well, some of the scenes in the movie were hysterically funny & both of us were responding in kind!

Next thing I know -- the FA is standing next to me & I'm thinking...'I'm wondering why she's standing there' -- before she says 'I know that the movie is funny, but you two are laughing too loud -- could you please keep it down?'::o(this may not be verbatim -- but you get the drift!) So, needless to say, Brit & I give each other that  glance & are laughing!:D;) She says to me -- 'no more Plat companion upgrades for you!':D:rolleyes::p

Hope everyone is having a good day!:-: I have a ton of actual client work to do, so may not be posting much!

It's a good thing I rarely see my coworkers in person. At least doing meetings like this by phone means I can get mute the phone and get away with multi-tasking. And it also means people can't see me rolling my eyes and making faces.

YIKES! All my CR1s and SWUs have disappeared from my account . I should start a UA thread and ask for compensation.

IB changed the time of my MAD-IST flight. I now have a 8hr layover in MAD, which I don't really want (especially as I do not have lounge access). Do you think I will be able to get them to reroute me on TK?

Are all of the terminals at DFW connected airside?

I am going to be arriving from a US flight so I will spend my layover in the PClub before going over to terminal B for my UA flight. How long should I allow for this transfer?

Finally, has anyone been to the LH lounge at DFW? Assuming it is a *G lounge and open during the time I am there, is it worth a visit?

Yup, the terminals are connected airside by a bi-directional elevated train. A circuit takes about 15 minutes, it may be a bit of walk from the station to the boarding gate.

Yes, all of the terminals are connected airside at DFW. The US gate is in E, the same place as the PClub, you'll just have to walk a bit to get to it (or take the interterminal train).

I don't think the LH club has windows and is fairly small, you're better off going to the AC lounge. Though, don't you have to be on an international itinerary to access them?

Being *G with BD gets you in to all Star Gold lounges as long as you are traveling on a Star carrier (domestic or international).

I will probably keep it simple and visit the PClub instead of hitting a 3rd terminal.

After being at JFK terminal 7 and 8 (better coffee) yesterday, I really have to urge to get on a plane and go some place.

Not if you're using BD Gold for entrance.
