Although I'm disappointed my hotel doesn't get TSN 8 "Le Ocho." And I was shocked at how difficult it was to find the Giants / Dallas game on TV last night. Unfortunately, visiting MSP, CLT, DFW, DEN and PHX don't provide the most exciting lounge options. PClubs, RCCs and US clubs for me... I also have a short layover in SFO, but no time to visit a lounge there as I have to move from T3 to T1. |

Thanks to the upgrade gods & Brituchenite's kind offer to add me as a Plat companion -- I got to fly in F w/her!^ We are settled in & she pointed out that the DirectTV was free for F passengers, so we both decided to watch a movie -- 'The Proposal' -- great chick flick!:D Both of us were coming off a sleep-deprived w/end, & I only got random pockets of actual sleep before waking up at 3am for the day!:mad::rolleyes::eek: So we are both in a silly, giddy mood & ripe for laughs:D! Well, some of the scenes in the movie were hysterically funny & both of us were responding in kind! Next thing I know -- the FA is standing next to me & I'm thinking...'I'm wondering why she's standing there' -- before she says 'I know that the movie is funny, but you two are laughing too loud -- could you please keep it down?'::o(this may not be verbatim -- but you get the drift!) So, needless to say, Brit & I give each other that :rolleyes: glance & are laughing!:D;) She says to me -- 'no more Plat companion upgrades for you!':D:rolleyes::p You know you've now been blacklisted from all our plat companion lists? ;) Great story! I've managed to stay awake long enough to clean up some emails but my eyelids keep going south. |
