I can do that...in feet :o.

Wow, just wow.

Those sorts of shenanigans by an airline would result in me making a trip to small claims/justice court to make a Deceptive Trade Practices Act claim, along with treble damages and any court costs.

Well it required some adjustment in my schedule, but more money is good. Seeing as I am going to be asking for a boat load of time off in November to accommodate various trips, it is important to be flexible early on.

heh, congrats you won $300. I would be interested to see what would happen if you file a DTPA case with small claims court. See US Air's lawyers arguing for removal to someone who is the legal equivalent of Judge Joe Brown.

I have my doubts as to whether they would even bother to answer in such a case. I think it might be an easy $300.

I wonder if DTPA claims are even within the subject-matter jurisdiction of Justice-Courts (but don't care enough to look through teh TRCP). :-:

There is no problem from the federal level, state courts handle federal cases all the time.

I was referring to Texas Justice Courts (the term here for Justice of The Peace courts). They have limited jurisdiction.

Has anyone read the book "Up in the Air"? I just started it on the subway this morning and I am NOT a reader unless the book has charts and numbers which pertain to my career. The first 20 pages are really good especially after seeing the trailer's to the film. It will be my "subway" book so will likely take me about a month to finish it but I'd be happy to pass it along to any one of you.

I have. It's a pretty fun read due to the aerogeekiness of it.

I enjoy my sprint service, been a big cheerleader of theirs, but their upgrade policy is ticking me off.

last year I got an instinct on my 2nd line, it was an 'upgrade' on a purchase i had a 100% owned phone(purchased not from sprint), they consider that my once a year upgrade.

I have a palm centro that is my main phone, contract up (2 year) in dec, I have told them now, I am jsut letting it expire and downsizing my account to one phone and no broadband net. I want a enw phone now, and goign to get it or they lose me.

Edit: ok supervisor to the rescue! Got new phone coming.

My stomach is still shaky from simply viewing the lunch offering in F yesterday (DEN-IAH). The fact that Chelsea thinks that the "cheeseburger" even looks appetizing is a farce. The fact that they paired it with a fine offering of bean soup is simply sadistic. Thankfully there was some fruit as well, but instead of dessert they should have provided alka-seltzer or beano.
