Ahh yes, you're right. Will the US website actually give me boarding passes for the 2 UA flights as well?

Dunno. You may have to also do OLCI on .bomb to print off your UA BPs.

Does EUA run only at the every 24 hour increment before the flight? Or do they do runs in between?

As pointed out - generally on the 24 hour increment mark. But a few months back it ran about 2 hours after the 24 hour mark. But lately at T-24(s).

But there are EUA problems right now as pointed out by CO Insider. I have a flight on Sat am - 15 open F seats - 8+ R bucket seats since day 5 continuously available and no EUAs. Likely a person with a problem reservation holding up the process. I should PM CO Insider.

That would be a pretty impressive accomplishment.

That's what I assumed - we are talking about UA and US here... Thanks!

In doing some rough calculations, assuming I can hit the 50k bonus mile threshold on Mileathon I should be able to amass about 150k miles between now and the end of the year based on current travel and spend levels. That's impossibly far yet tantalizingly close to my goal.

Thoughts?

Do it. Start buying coins on an Amex (can transfer MR to CO). Alternatively, the transfer-ratio to CO sucks, but you can transfer SPG to CO with the 5K bonus for every 20K transferred. Perhaps you could arrange a deal in Coupon Connection to transfer SPG to another FFP, in return for paying the fees associated with a CO--->CO mileage transfer. :-:

Or just believe him when he says that they've identified the problem and that they are loading a fix for it into the mainframe soon.

Certainly going to miss the sure-thing EUA's on NW and the sweet Worldclubs in DTW.

Hey - I've missed one EUA on NW this year.

I think there's an outside chance of earning - the problem would be getting them all credited. I see lots of dollar coins in your future.

I was just wondering how EUA works if you've bought a ticket after the initial upgrade window for your status. Basically, I bought a ticket after the Gold EUA and was wondering if it runs again earlier than 24 hours later or if it only runs at the 24 hour mark.

Thanks!

Just realized I have a flight on a 733 in October. Gotta make sure to get the tail number... Might be one of the last ones in the fleet.

Can't do coins. I'm not home M - F to sign for them and drop them off to the bank. This will be an option of complete last resort.

For the record, I don't mind amassing SPG points. I'll need nice places to stay on the honeymoon. @:-) And right now my hotel points are spread all over .

Speaking of which, I should dump my Green Amex for the SPG Amex.

I have a US 733 in December. Everything I've been able to verify in my FM tells me that if the equipment choice holds, it will only be my 2nd ride on the type.

Will canceling one AmEx and replacing it with another trigger a signup bonus? If not, don't get rid of the Green.

And if you have points all over, talk to Teh CC. SPG's are the most valuable out there, so you will probably feel like you're not getting a huge return for giving up the points in other chains, but if you're looking to turn a lots of small numbers into one large number, CC is definitely your friend.

It just runs at the next window but you get your priority at the top of the list.

Keep the green until the MR points are unloaded and then kill it. No need to pay the annual fee for it if you're not going to use it.

And the SPG is a credit card, not a charge card, and the signup bonus scheme is different. He'll get the SPG points.

I received the SPG AMEX sign up bonus when I canceled a different AMEX.
