Look and see if you can find mine on AA, it was "lost" back in 2001(hence my reason to never set foot on their planes again)

Airlines only keep unclaimed bags for 5 days. On the 6th day, we at CO, send the bags to our System Tracing Center. STC takes a complete inventory of the contents of the bag and attempt to locate the owner from the open files. If they can not match this bag with anyone, the bag and contents are sold to a vendor.

Every airline delays bags and everyone experiences stolen luggage. A few years ago alot of stolen bags were found in a dumpster. Things happen.

How long does it take for US flights to post to BD? My UA flights from Saturday have already posted, but nothing yet from US.

They should be in there by tomorrow or Wednesday, if my experience with FLL-PDX is anything to go by.

ETA - Did you ensure that your BD number was entered into the US system? When booking on .bomb with a mix of UA and US flights, it won't necessarily tag your BD number to the US segments. You have to call in to US before flying (or take care of it at the airport).

Thanks - I'll look for them tomorrow.

I added my BD number to the reservation on the US site. The number, along with "Star Gold" was printed on all of my US boarding passes so I should be OK.

Don't know if you've selected hotels for your MSP layovers yet, but I can definitely recommend the Westin Minneapolis - a very nice property located right next to the Nicollet Mall light rail stop. I also stayed at the Aloft Minneapolis and it was your standard Aloft located about 2 blocks from the Metrodome light rail stop. For my next trip, I'm thinking of returning to the Westin for one night and then trying either the W or Hotel Ivy for the second night.

Co 1e, it would be awesome if they picked you for a jury.

How did you manage this on the US site? It wouldn't seem to let me use BD as a carrier choice for entry of FFP # (only US).

For this weekend, I'm at the Sheraton Midtown and Westin Edina Galleria. I'm just going by whatever happens to be the cheapest prepaid rate for week of travel.

I have dutifully shown up twice for duty and quickly got da boot from panels when I mentioned that I used to work with the prosecutors office and currently consult on legal technology and litigation support issues. It seems that makes me a bad juror.

Would BD gold get you lounge access here when flying domestic runs?

Be careful with the ideas that you give her ;)!

Good point, Scott! Though she'd be using her own miles ;)
