I dropped a roll of dollar coins in the roadway tonight when crossing the street . The NJ Transit bus stopped in the roadway so I could pick up all 25 dollar coins (yes the roll broke) :-:

Poor you! Thank goodness you were able to retrieve said errant coins! See, they were anxious to get out of your hot hands!:D

I am just glad they didn't roll all over the place and under parked cars.

No, I don't think you are being unreasonable at all -- I recall reading about how some family's holiday photo ended up being used in advertisements somewhere in Eastern Europe, unbeknownst to them. You also want to make sure it is copyrighted, if you choose for it to used for marketing purposes.

Agreed. As her mom, it is your right to determine what exposure she gets and it's unreasonable for someone to use a pic without authorization. Plus, there are tons of pics they can buy from pic sites for that purpose.

So i'm back in Tampa, closing my accounts and packing the last of my belongings for my new apartment... and the cat has seemingly given up the will to live since I moved out.

She's like 14+ years old, outlived every other pet my family ever had, and until now was doing quite well.

Since I left two weeks ago she has stopped eating, gotten super thin, and the vet's offer is to give her painkillers if needed. She wont even eat a fresh can of tuna placed 3 inches from her - she gets excited but then goes to take a bite and stops, and pants. She goes about 5ft and lays down to pant/take a nap.

Two weeks ago she was "old" but fine. She could still jump around and stuff.. now she looks horrible. I don't know what to do, I feel like I killed the cat by leaving.

So sad!:( It sounds like maybe that is her 'journey' now - to transition. I doubt that your moving is 'killing' her -- it is just her 'destiny' -- so don't take it personally. She's lived a very full life, so you may want to take up the vet's offer & make her comfortable. You'll know the right thing to do at the time -- you don't want her to suffer more than she needs to. It's good that you are there now. Lots of positive vibes to you!^

That is definitely uncool. Every school or camp my kids have attended have had an opt-in or opt-out regarding publication of the kids' photos in brochures or on the web; I was under the impression that this was standard practice where pictures of minors are concerned.

The general rule is that for commerical purposes a photo release is required by the parent. However if the photo was taken in public then it get's in a grey area. For non-commerical and artistic photos taken in public you'd be SOL.

It wasn't even worth it for that. I went in with low expectations, but not low enough. I thought maybe it could be a guilty pleasure, but it was just :td::rolleyes:.

When did you become a mod for the B6 forum? I must have missed the memo.

Earlier this week. I'm hoping that it doesn't last too long due to conflict of interest "problems" but I'm going to have to push a lot harder for that, I think.

Awesome hangover this morning. Not looking forward to getting off the couch and going to the office later.

Don't really care where in the U.S., as a reputable merchant would be worth the travel expense.

ALCO, I have an excellent Diamond Broker that I can give you the information for. He is 100% trustworthy. In fact, when we were looking for a diamond, we worked with him for several months while he sourced exactly what we wanted. Whenever he found something, he shipped it to me -didn't even ask me to pay for it until I had looked at it, had it appraised by a local gemologisit and was happy with it - and I eventually found the diamond I have now. if you want his name, PM me and I'll send you his details. I would trust him completely to get you the very best price he can. He's located on the west coast.

That is one nice puppy by the sounds of it. - IF and D - phew! I know diamonds, and know what to look for. What are the proprotions? The cut? The table dimensions? Is it a triple 000 or Excellent,Excellent, Excellent? If it is, you'll have no problem getting a good price for it. My diamond is a 2 carat, triple zero, VS1, F. Color is no problem. The cut is so fantastic that it is blindingly bright. I am one very lucky girl to have this diamond, I can tell you!!
