Morning Box. It is already a balmy 93 degrees here in FW.
Does anyone know when mileage upgrades on waitlist clear? We are W/L for our EWR-AUA leg on 9/3. Well my hell last week of no internet service at work turned up at the house this week. I had set up to have my internet moved and up this past weekend at the new house and ATT found a way to loss that work order. No problem I have my cell phone with internet and teathering. WRONG. The storm that knocked out the internet at work also seems to have knocked out one of the two towers in the Stillwater area so I have to stand on the front sidewalk with one foot in the air leaning to the right to get any sort of signal. UGH UGH!! On top of that the new place has boxes everywhere as I had two days to move the stuff and no time to unpack. The closing is tomorrow and I called yesterday to ask the window guy when the skylight was going to be fixed and in talking with his assistant I find out that he has "fixed" my skylight. Nope you gave the neighbor a great looking skylight and mine still has the 2 inches of water that it had previously and now needs to still be fixed by tomorrow to close on the house. UGH!!! |

Hey, I will be at EWR C on 8/15 -- around that time -- am going to DEN that day. Most likely at the C74 PC. (I can guest, as it's only me).
Don't need access, have a card. C74 = near Dunkin'. winner winner. @:-) WWBD, I've been invited to AC for a Bachelor party on 8/14. Do I go? Here's the complicating factor(s): I return from the west coast late on 8/13. I leave for OGG early am on 8/15. If I do the BP I will come directly from AC to EWR, probably still be drunk and having not slept. I'm not sure if the Canuck is going to want to put up with flying with me for the next 20 hours after a night of unmitigated disaster. This also presents a logistical challenge with cars. So, WWBD? |

If he posts them in the Aeroporn Thread, I will index them. Speaking of which, I need to go check that thread, as I haven't looked at it in a while...

Wow CM - you have ROCK STAR status now... :)

ABE is a very nice airport to use as well. You can walk from the economy lot to the terminal building in about 3 minutes, the security lines are almost always short and there is free wifi. ^ |

Agreed. ABE is one of the nicer small airports I've been through. I did ORD-ABE roundtrips about 50-60 times in 2005/2006.

Forget IAH-DME, ABE-EWR is where it's at! |
jet just went supersonic over my house, I thought my house was exploding for a second

FT needs a "thumbs up" feature. For when you really don't want to reply, but you want to acknowledge that "hey, okay, that's pretty good."
I guess that's what the :-:/:rolleyes: is for. And I suppose More is More with the post counts. |

At school we had the IIe, IIGS, then a succession of 500-series and the like. I'm fairly certain I didn't touch a PC until sometime in high school. :)
She ended up not getting much work after I asked a simple question and she was happy spending the next hour explaining and trying to make a convert. I left the airplane still thinking "how ridiculous" since all of that nonsense was simply a sop for the masses and nothing could ever displace the utility of DOS which you could tell to do anything simply bu typing in a few words and symbols. Pictures, using a mouse, moving symbols, you must be kidding. Shows how much I know. :o |
