Here's the kicker, she told me: "the group rate really won't be all that much. It's peak season for us, so we'll only give you $10 - $20 off rack."

Yes, it's true, July is peak season. But:
A) who pays rack?
B) in a down economy would they rather have 100 room nights on the books for the following year then give a competitive group discount?
C) would 100 transient rooms really be providing the ancillary revenue my group will?

This woman has failed business.

If that was economic news, the "experts" on cnbc, bloomburg, fox buisness, etc. would claim the recession is over and all is good.

What is it with these ex AA 727's having a partial CO paint job? (gray belly and yellow stripe) Here's another one

If you look at posted photos and videos, that's most common view.

Hey rkkwan, just curious, what's the lens you're using to grab these shots?

I use the Canon 70-200/4L IS with a Kenko 1.4x extender. On a 40D.

I prefer the view with no wings visible, because they're way behind me. You get that up in the pointy end of the plane.

hrmmm...up front (except in the cockpit or cockpit jumpseat) on a 764 I could still see the wing even:

others not quite like this but, this was in row 5 I believe on this flight, and I could see quite a lot.
